Development
Development started in 1994 but was not completed until the year 2000 and by that point the successor to the DreamStation had already been announced and released.
The studio did not have the funding to pivot to the new system after a tumultuous and troubled development cycle so it came out for the DreamStation exclusively, a fact that contributed to its poor sales.
